Yahoo has reportedly been planning to offer prominent YouTube stars and networks better financial incentives to come aboard their own competing service.
The move comes at the right time for Yahoo too, as YouTube video makers have been complaining over the lack of money they are being paid.
Taking advantage of this, Yahoo is now also offering viral YouTube video creators better ad revenue percentages. They are also luring YouTube stars with increased marketing and more flexibility on ad space.
While Yahoo has been keeping tight lipped on their operations, it appears that the company is launching their own sharing video site to compete with YouTube and Vimeo.
While it is not clear when Yahoo is going to make the announcement, sources claim that the site will be ready in the next few months.
