Paypal is working on allowing users and merchants to receive and pay with a bitcoin.
The company has announced that it will be adding Bitcoin payments to its platform in the coming months.
Braintree, the company behind Paypal stated that it was looking to embrace the virtual currency and to make one touch mobile payments more accessible.
The move will see Paypal align with Coinbase to allow those who have Bitcoins to sync them with their Paypal account.
Once the sync is enabled, users will be able to pay and receive from select merchants and customers using their Coinbase account.
The new integration is expected to be rolled out in the coming months as well as a new mobile payment method.
