Tipbit, a email startup has just acquired $4 million in funding from Ignition Partners.
Starting by Gordon Mangione, a former Microsoft employee, Tipbit was launched back in 2011 for iOS users.
Tipbit boasts to be more than just an email app, offering users the ability to search emails more efficiently, search social profiles, share files from Dropbox, access your calendar, files, contacts and more.
An updated version of Tipbit has also just been released since it first launched, offering better search features and better management of events and calendars.
With this new funding, the app creators are hoping to increase customers, expand on the design and employ more staff.
An android version is also currently in the works.
